I am an 18 year old boy from Denmark who is currently studying Computer Science at the University of Sussex.
When I was 6 years old, I got my first computer from my grandpa. We didn't have internet nor did I know it existed, so all I did was play cool Danish computer games.
When I was 10 years old, we finally had a proper family computer with DSL internet. One of my dad's friends told of something called Visual Studio. I did not know anything about programming, so it didn't quite work out for me.
When I was 11 years old, Tinkernut thought be HTML, CSS, JS and PHP on Youtube. For a long time this was my jam. Until...
When I turned 14 years old, I learned Python and became quite good at it. Between the ages 14 and 18 I didn't do much programming, as I felt quite pressured in school. Especially while doing the International Baccalaureate back in Denmark.
I am now 18 years, studying computer science at the School of Engineering and Informatics at the University of Sussex. Here I am learning C, C++, Matlab and Java. Even though uni just started for me, I am quite certain I'll be very happy here. I enjoy computer science so much.
